At the time of rescue, Alicia, pictured below, was at another shelter with 10 puppies, just 3 days old.  We placed them into loving foster care for nurturing and socialization.

Seven of Alicia's babies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption.  Three more remain in foster care for a bit longer.  Alicia herself, a young Chocolate Labrador Retriever & Weimaraner mix, will be ready for adoption soon too in the days to come.  (The puppies' father(s) is/are unknown.)

Their wonderful foster dad describes the babies as follows:

Chewie, a baby boy.  He is very independent and strong-willed.  He loves to explore his surroundings.  He listens well and needs lots of praise.

Ginger, a baby girl.  She has spurts of high energy playfulness followed by long moments of down time and she can be a picky eater.

Macy, a baby girl.  She is very docile and good-natured.  She will do best with another dog in the home for companionship.  She frightens easily and she is sensitive to scolding.

Max, a baby boy.  He is highly energetic and craves attention.  He needs lots of play toys.  He likes to sit at your feet.

Pansy, a baby girl.  She needs lots of attention and reassurance.  She scares easily and feels most confident being around other dogs.

Romeo, a baby boy.  He is loyal and loves being petted.  He likes to romp and play.  He listens well.

Violet, a baby girl.  She is inquisitive and needs lots of stimulation to keep her occupied, along with plenty of room to run and play.

These sweet puppies can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.
