Despite all of the trauma, I worked hard to keep my puppies alive.

Update: Mary Jane was adopted on February 18th!

Early in December, we rescued Mary Jane and her puppies when her previous owner lost the family home to foreclosure.

Her 7 puppies were just a day old and very fragile!

Extremely distressed in these circumstances, she nevertheless faithfully maintained her tender care for her puppies. We transferred Mary Jane and her babies into a foster home so they would have a quiet environment and the best chance for survival.

Thanks to the generosity of their foster mom, and Mary Jane's maternal devotion, all 7 puppies survived. (They remain in foster care and will be ready for adoption in March or April.)

Mary Jane is now spayed and ready for adoption into a forever home. She is a medium-size Terrier mix, 3 years of age.

A sweetheart through and through, she is eager to please and she likes to follow you around, shadowing you for attention and reassurance.

Mary Jane is compatible with other friendly dogs.

Please come meet this amazing girl today.
