Ralphy & Spidey, adorable baby brothers debuting for adoption today!

Image
Ralphy Spidey Ralphy and Spidey are adorable, playful brother puppies with cuddly, loving natures.  They are cute Beagle & Dachshund mixes, expected to remain small, approximately 9 months of age, and now neutered and debuting for ado ption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.   Both are good with dogs and older kids, plus crate-trained too.  Ralphy and Spidey needed us because their previous owners said they were too rambunctious around a toddler in the home who kept getting knocked down when the puppies tried to play with her.

Promise you will let me sleep on the bed beside you.

Billy is an earnest, playful Beagle mix puppy triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  He is great with kids and dogs, and reportedly housetrained too. Billy is 10 months of age, neutered, and sporting the richest gold coloring.  At the time of rescue his life was in jeopardy with the parvo disease.  After extensive medical care he made a full and complete recovery!  (Thank you very much to those who donate to Nevada SPCA's advanced medical care fund!)  Billy is now ready to be cherished as a valued member of a forever family.  Please ask for him by name when you visit.

Gretchen, a Boxer puppy for adoption who loves to listen to you.

Image
Gretchen is a beautiful pup, smart and engaging and kind, debuting for adoption triumphantly today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Boxer, about 10 months of age and spayed.  Gretchen likes to you talk to her and explain things.  She is a good listener and wants to understand you.  We rescued Gretchen from another shelter to treat her for mange.  She responded amazingly well to treatment, her hair is growing back, and she has been cleared by her veterinarian for adoption. Boxer knowledge is preferred for her adoption.

They say I have heavenly grace.

Do you remember Dusty , who was surrendered to us in December just a day or two before giving birth?  We appealed for help in finding her a foster home so she could have her babies in the peace and comfort of a home environment.  Dusty was a good momma and despite being extremely traumatized by all the upheaval, she cared for her pups beautifully.  Dusty is now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a very shy, gentle girl with majestic poise, about 18 months of age, a golden medium-size Shepherd mix.  Dusty is reportedly housetrained, crate-trained, and fine with very mature kids.  Her puppies remain in foster care until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered.

I thank you even more for saving my babies.

Princess is an affectionate, grateful little beauty debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Chihuahua & Terrier mix with butterscotch & white coloring, about 5 years of age, spayed girl, good with other friendly dogs.  At the time of rescue Princess had been surrendered to another shelter, along with her four month-old babies.  We placed Princess and her puppies in loving foster care.  Princess is now ready for a forever home (and her babies will be ready in the weeks to come once they are old enough to be spayed/neutered).

Ruby and Sapphire, baby jewels debuting for adoption.

Image
Ruby Sapphire Ruby and Sapphire are adorable little gems with sparkling personalities and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA (www.nevadaspca.org).  The girls are Heinz 57s (a blend of many breeds), expected to remain small or grow at most to medium size, spayed, and 3 months of age.  Ruby and Sapphire have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since their rescue as newborns many weeks ago. They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

3 adorable Australian Shepherd mix puppies debuting for adoption today.

Dwane Victor Wayne Dwane , Victor , and Wayne are robust baby boys debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. These brothers are the first 3 of the 28 Australian Shepherd mix puppies we rescued in December.  They are now neutered and ready for loving, forever homes. The boys are about 3 months of age and we expect them to grow to medium size.  They are playful and friendly and have had some socialization, thanks to volunteers and a foster home.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety.

Abbott and Costello, Shar Pei puppies debuting for adoption.

Image
Abbott Costello Abbot and Costello are incredibly cute and playful Shar Pei puppies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The brothers are now 5 months of age and neutered.  At the time of rescue they were surrendered with severe rashes and hair loss, but this turned out to be only food allergies, which is very common in dogs.  The boys are now on a special diet (fish) and their skin and coats are already recovering beautifully.  Please be sure to puppy-proof your home(s) for their safety and protection.  Shar Pei knowledge is preferred for their adoptions.

Xoloitzcuintli x puppies, brothers Alfonzo and Guido.

Image
Alfonzo Guido Alfonzo & Guido are baby brothers with gentle spirits and they will melt your heart when you hold them or look into their pleading eyes. The boys have enormous, lifelong unconditional love to share with you. Alfonzo & Guido are Mexican Hairless Dog (Xoloitzcuintli) & Chihuahua mixes, now 3 months of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Their hair loss does not affect their general health.  Precautions need to be taken to prevent sunburns.  (We had a veterinary skin specialist confirm that their hair loss is congenital and natural.) The boys are so wonderful together that we strongly prefer adopting them as a pair for lifelong companionship.  We don't generally require this with puppies and kittens, but these puppies have an especially strong bond. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

We are Cocker Spaniel & Scottish Terrier mix puppies now ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Can humans make lifetime commitments to us?

Marla Carla These adorable baby girls were handed off from person to person, recklessly.  We rescued them from a man who told us, in front of his daughters, that he was ready to sling them in the streets because he did not want them anymore. Marla and Carla are angelic puppies, sisters, now spayed and ready for adoption.  They are Heinz 57s, beautiful blends of breeds, perhaps with Shepherd, about 3 months of age, and expected to grow to medium or large size. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection. Marla and Carla can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship.

We are blooming now that we are healthy and well.

Daisy Rose Update: Rose was adopted on March 14! Update: Daisy was adopted on March 12! Daisy and Rose are baby girls who came from two different litters and were sick with the parvo virus at the time of rescue. We had emergency medical care provided for both puppies, and after extensive treatment, the girls made full recoveries. Daisy is endearing and has a loving nature.  She is most likely a Pointer mix, now spayed about between 4-5 months of age. Rose is affectionate, spunky, and playful.  She is a Heinz 57 with Retriever, now spayed about about 4 months young. The girls are available for adoption separately.   Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Why did they mistake us for trash?

Minnie Pearl Roy Update: Roy was adopted on February 18th! Many of us, and many of you, peek into dumpsters when we walk by them.  Sometimes there are innocent little eyes, terrified, peeking right back up at us, pleading for help. One of Nevada SPCA's board members found these baby angels stuffed in a crate by a dumpster. They are treasures, beautiful inside and out.  Both Minnie Pearl and Roy , sister and brother, carry themselves nobly already, with dignity. They are Retriever and Shepherd mixes, spayed/neutered, 3-4 months of age, and we expect them to grow to at least medium size. Minnie Pearl and Roy can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting the pair for lifelong love and companionship.

The Western Pups

Meadow Cowboy Driver Roundup Spurs Update: All 5 babies were adopted on February 17th and 18th! We named Meadow and her four brothers ( Cowboy , Driver , Roundup , and Spurs ) " The Western Pups ". The person who surrendered them said they were "city dogs" and she was moving to the country, or vice-versa, and whatever the truth, the reality is the dogs needed us and we were happy to bring them into safety. Their mom is a Border Collie and their dad is unknown.  They are now spayed/neutered, about 4 months of age, and debuting for adoption. All five seem intelligent, a bit reserved, at least with new people, and super sweet. They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship. Also, please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Please make a lifetime commitment to us. Adoption is forever.

Brothers: Dante, Demitri, Deuce, and Dominic Sisters: Gilelle, Gretta, and Gwen Staff nicknamed these seven babies " The Dazzling Desert Dawgz ".  At the time of rescue they were too young to be away from their mom and trying to survive in desolate conditions in a nearby small desert community. Fast-forward several weeks, and now all seven are healthy and thriving.  They have been spayed/neutered, had two sets of vaccinations, been micro-chipped, and they are now ready for adoption into lifelong homes. There are three sisters ( Gilelle , Gretta , and Gwen ) and four brothers ( Dante , Demitri , Deuce , and Dominic ).  In about a month or so we can make a better guess about their breed blends.  Perhaps they are a wonderful mix of Shepherd, Retriever, Bully, and/or Beagle, and we expect them to grow to medium or large size.  They are approximately 3 months of age. All seven have electrifying personalities.  They are playful and full of spirit and ...

We want to be with loving people who will never reject us.

Maile Loki and Momi Lani and Kimo Update 4: Kimo was adopted on January 20th! Update 3: Lani and Maile were adopted on January 15th! Update 2: Loki was adopted on January 14th! Update: Momi was adopted on January 13th! These babies have loving, affectionate natures to match their super cute faces. They are Chi-Weenie Puppies (Chihuahua & Dachshund mixes), spayed/neutered, approximately 4 months of age, debuting for adoption today. We generally don't like plastic collars on dogs, but we made an exception here since they are 5 puppies and this helps us keep them identified.  The sisters, wearing pink collars, are Maile (the adorable "runt" who we cherish so much) and Lani and Momi .  The brothers, in blue, are Kimo and Loki . At the time of rescue these babies were just a few weeks of age.  We rushed them into foster care for extra special attention and socialization.  All five thrived and blossomed, thanks to the great compassion of thei...

I've got my brothers' backs.

Bronco, Lil' Joe, and Jesse James Bronco, Lil' Joe, and Jesse James Update: All three boys were adopted on January 8th! Just days before Christmas, we rescued 6 adorable Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix puppies who were living outside, despite the cold spell, their bellies full of worms and some ill with parvo disease. Now, after loving care and medical treatment, all 6 of the babies are thriving and blooming.  These three -- Bronco, Jesse James, and Lil' Joe -- debut for adoption today.  Unlike their brothers, they did not contract parvo.  (Their three other brothers are still recovering and we anticipate them being available for adoption too in the next 10 days.) We nicknamed all 6 boys " The Chocoholic Brothers ".  They are playful, zany, super sweet, and loving, and they have hearty appetites.  They are neutered and about 3 months of age. Lil' Joe is quite a bit smaller than his brothers, but they treat him like a prince, respect him, and (as...

We are each a bundle of love.

Jude and Julius Update: Jude and Julius were adopted on December 30th! We are so pleased that these two babies have such light-hearted, affectionate personalities. Especially since both had to overcome a life-threatening disease at the time of rescue.  They were sick with the parvo virus and their previous owner could not or would not provide the medical care for them necessary to save their lives, nor even make a donation to help us save them. We rushed them into emergency medical care at a local veterinary clinic, and after extensive treatment, both made full recoveries. Today, Jude and Julius , who are sister and brother, triumphantly debut for adoption. They are spayed/neutered, about 4 months of age, and reportedly Cane Corso and Bully mixes, so we expect them to possibly grow to large size. Jude and Julius can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. We were empowered to save these angels thanks to ...

Will you be gentle with us?

Coco Oreia Update 2: Coco was adopted on November 26th! Update: Oreia was adopted on November 24th! Coco and Oreia are very pretty baby sisters with tender souls. These girls debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  They are reportedly Doxie-Poos (Dachshund & Poodle mixes), spayed, about 6 months of age. Coco and Oreia can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They need regular grooming care and your patience and good guidance to complete housetraining.  (A steady lifestyle routine is the foundation for housetraining.) The girls are as sweet as they look and compatible with friendly dogs and older, mature kids. They needed us due to their previous owners' financial hardship. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Will our futures be bright, sunny, and full of love?

Daisy, Angus, and Rose Adam and Arnie Update 3: Arnie was adopted on November 20th! Update 2: Daisy was adopted on November 19th.  Update: Three of the five (Adam, Angus, and Rose) were adopted on November 18th!  These five angels -- two girls ( Daisy and Rose ) and three boys ( Adam , Arnie , and Angus ) -- debut for adoption today. We rescued their mother, Violet , a purebred Chihuahua, from the streets.  She had been abandoned, pregnant, and she was dodging cars and trying to stay alive on her own.  We placed her in a loving foster home where she could have her babies in peace and tranquility, and so they could be raised in a home environment.  ( Violet will be spayed and available for adoption later this month.) Violet's puppies are each sweethearts with very loving, tender natures.  They enjoy cuddling and snuggling and giving you kisses.  They are shy with strangers and loud people, so gentle homes are the best fit for each of t...
