The streets of broken dreams.
Update: Locket was adopted on September 25th!
Locket almost became one of the countless felines who perish every day outdoors, where dangers are ever-present: cars, dogs, disease, pranksters, birds of prey, the elements, among many more.
She was in the streets with a broken pelvis, most likely the result of being run over or struck by a car.
After two months of medical care and cage rest, she made a good recovery. She can walk again.
Locket now needs a new home -- one where she will be kept strictly indoors for her safety & protection.
She is most likely an American & British Shorthair mix, approximately 3 years of age. She is spayed and her beautiful colors resemble "Torbie" patterning with brown, orange-tan, & white.
Personality-wise, Locket is a very sweet, loving girl, but with a shy and quieter nature. We believe she will do best in a calmer home.
