Blond Angels

Arriving at Nevada SPCA on April 19

Gabriel, 5 months of age.

Isabelle, 11 months of age.
These 25 Blond Angels are all now safe -- 11 adults, 1 puppy, 1 junior puppy, and 12 newborns -- at Nevada SPCA.

This picture is of their arrival yesterday afternoon after being taken from an extremely neglectful home where their previous owner had been arrested for animal cruelty.

Please help find foster homes for much-needed socialization and for the moms and newborns. The two junior puppies -- Gabriel and Isabelle -- can go into foster care today (5 and 11 months of age, respectively). All of the Blond Angels are exceptionally timid. A professional dog trainer is helping us evaluate today which others are ready for foster homes and which need to remain with us longer before being placed in foster care.

Additional dogs are being rescued this week from the same home. Nevada SPCA has agreed to take all of them, but we don't yet have a final count.

Because of the dogs' severe timidity, their foster parents need to be experienced with animal rescue please. If you can help us with Gabriel, Isabelle, or a mom with newborns, please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 4pm and ask for Dwane. Thank you.
