Cherish Faith Gregory Isabelle 4 more of the 35 rescued Blond Angels -- Cherish , Faith , Gregory , and Isabelle -- are now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Each of these youngsters (White Shepherd & Yellow Labrador Retriever mixes) is developing emotionally at different rates, learning to trust and awakening to a new perception of people and their relationships with people. Isabelle , 11 months of age and spayed, is adjusting especially well. She is walking surprisingly well on leash already, letting us pick her up, and giving puppy kisses. Cherish , 2 years of age and spayed, is becoming much less fearful of people and she is trying to fit in and determine what is expected of her. Gregory , 3 years of age and neutered, shines with people he trusts, but he's especially wary of strangers and fears being hit. Faith , 4 years of age and spayed, has a large and regal appearance. She is very sensitive and gets distressed on leash. Like ...

Colton King Nicholas 3 more of the 35 rescued Blond Angels -- Colton , King , and Nicholas -- are ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.   All three are sensitive, gentle, exceptionally timid, White Shepherd & Yellow Labrador Retriever mixes, approximately 3-4 years of age, and now neutered. The boys need heroes to help them continue improving with trust and socialization. It's a long journey that cannot be forced, but their development is exceeding expectations as they are accepting our kindness, learning to walk on leash, letting us touch them, and more. Arriving at Nevada SPCA on April 19 Gabriel, 5 months of age. Isabelle, 11 months of age. These 25 Blond Angels are all now safe -- 11 adults, 1 puppy, 1 junior puppy, and 12 newborns -- at Nevada SPCA. This picture is of their arrival yesterday afternoon after being taken from an extremely neglectful home where their previous owner had been arrested for animal cruelty. Please help find foster homes for much-needed socialization and for the moms and newborns. The two junior puppies -- Gabriel and Isabelle -- can go into foster care today (5 and 11 months of age, respectively). All of the Blond Angels are exceptionally timid. A professional dog trainer is helping us evaluate today which others are ready for foster homes and which need to remain with us longer before being placed in foster care. Additional dogs are being rescued this week from the same home. Nevada SPCA has agreed to take all of them, but we don't yet have a final count...

Brittany Caroline Caroline and Brittany Brittany and Caroline were saved by home renovators who broke into a wall to save them after hearing their cries for help.  The baby sisters are just 4 weeks old and need a loving foster home where they can be raised and socialized until they are old enough to be spayed.  The girls are beginning to eat wet food on their own.  If you can help them or any of the other rescued motherless kittens or rescued pregnant cats, please visit Nevada SPCA today before 4pm and ask for Lonnie.  Thank you very much to everyone sharing posts to help find heroes! Benjamin , a silver tabby, was found wandering alone in a park.  He is about 5 weeks of age and needs approximately 1 month of foster care. Jewel and her four brothers were found in a warehouse.  A worker was about to saw a box they were in when he fortunately heard their cries in time to avoid harming them.  These five babies are just 4 weeks of age and learning to eat wet food on their own. Debra and Arline, baby girls Flower, baby girl 20 more motherless kittens have been rescued in just the past 24 hours and we are urgently seeking loving foster homes for them until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered.  If you can help 2 or more, please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm and ask for Lonnie. Pictured here: Debra and Arline were found nestled inside an old couch left out on a curb.  The man putting the couch in the back of his truck discovered the baby girls hidden inside.  They are about 5 weeks of age. Flower and her four siblings are just 4 weeks of age.  A man found them in the back seat of his truck.  Their mother had jumped out when he opened the door and he was unable to catch her. Melanie and a dozen other rescued motherless young kittens urgently need loving foster homes. Tender loving care from nurturing foster parents is the only hope for motherless newborns and others with a fragile hold on life.  We feel blessed to have so many volunteers and staff willing to care for these babies, even waking up in the middle of the night to ensure they are fed every three hours.  More people are needed to help as motherless newborns continue to be rescued throughout the spring and summer, so please visit Nevada SPCA and ask for Lonnie if you would like to learn more about becoming a foster parent. Guy & Dude are brothers with a magical bond and they needed us when their previous owner went into a nursing home.  When Dude went to an advanced clinic for his permanent head tilt (caused by an old ear infection), Guy began screaming and ended up having to accompany his brother for the journey.  The boys simply want to be at each other's side at all times.  They are handsome, well-behaved Beagles, about 7 years of age, neutered boys, housetrained, and compatible with cats & dogs & kids.  Guy & Dude debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Chili, the mother Cinnamon Fuzzi Rosie Chili , 14, is believed to be the mother of three adult daughters named Cinnamon , Fuzzi , and Rosie , who are 8 years of age.  All of these girls are gentle Chihuahuas.  They are very strongly bonded, but not much else is known about their background (they were surrendered by a relative of their previous owner who had become incapacitated).  This is a difficult situation, but knowing that adopting four together is likely not reasonable, we need to adopt them out in pairs (and their adoption fees are discounted).  Please help us find heroes for Chili and her daughters.

Baby Andre , pictured here, was rescued from the Vegas streets where he was on his own and in peril, with no sign whatsoever of responsible ownership.  He is a super cute Chihuahua puppy, about 8 weeks of age.  Baby Andre is so grateful for kindness that he will shower your face with puppy kisses when you talk sweetly.  Baby Andre needs loving foster care and socialization for approximately 4-6 weeks until he is old enough to be neutered and prepared for adoption.

We urgently need foster homes today for 14 rescued motherless kittens (from 3 separate litters).  The foster commitment is for approximately 1-3 months, generally speaking, until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and prepared for adoption.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm today if you can help and ask for Lonnie. Foster homes are urgently needed today for rescued animals -- a pregnant cat, a 17-year-old Beagle named Snoopy who was just surrendered, and three tiny Chihuahua puppies.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 5pm if you can help. Alicia , pictured here, is one of three tiny Chihuahua puppies dropped off at a veterinary clinic.  They are about 7 weeks of age and need a loving foster home for approximately 4-6 weeks.

We are very grateful to all of you who share the posts of the newborn kittens who need foster homes.  We are rescuing more than 10 a day this month, all with a fragile hold on life, and they need nurturing foster parents to survive and thrive.  If you can help foster, please visit Nevada SPCA before 5pm and ask for Lonnie. Kaleb (pictured here) is a baby boy who was found outdoors completely alone, no siblings or mother in sight.  We also just rescued a litter of four kittens who lost their mother.  Most urgently of all, we rescued a momma cat named Leesha who has three newborns who are just one day old. Angie & Tonya are 2 of the 10 motherless young kittens who need loving foster homes today.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm if you can help and ask for Lonnie.  Thank you in advance for helping share the word for them! Angie & Tonya were covered in mud and dirt at the time of rescue yesterday.  A kind woman saw them scrambling out of the way of a bulldozer that was working on land near her office.  She caught them and raced them to us, very shaken and emotionally overwhelmed by what had occurred in such a short time, but she heroically saved these baby girls.    Angie & Tonya are about 6 weeks of age, eating on their own, and they loving foster care & socialization for approximately 2 months until they are ready to be spayed and prepared for adoption.
