Buttercup's winsome smile is matched by the peace-of-mind in her eyes.

Months ago at the time of her rescue, Buttercup refused to let us touch her. She wanted nothing more to do with humans and feared more violence.
Volunteers and staff sat with her, complimented her, and she began accepting kindness. Every week she improved.

Now, Buttercup wags her tail and smiles when people she knows approach her. She is ready for her new life and fresh start, and debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Buttercup is great with other dogs, a calm-natured Chihuahua, spayed, and 10 years of age.
Please share her picture and help find Buttercup a wonderful forever home.
