Ruby Rose, healed and ready for adoption!



Ruby Rose survived being run over by a car.  After months of healing, today she triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Ruby Rose is a 5-month-old kitten, spayed girl, terrific with other cats.  Please kitten-proof your home for her safety.

You may remember from a few months ago the tragedy where a woman died and the landlord dumped all of her belongings, including a mother cat and her four kittens, into the front yard.  Neighbors captured the momma cat (Heather) and three of her babies, but Ruby Rose was run over by a car before they could capture her.  Ruby Rose's pelvis was crushed. Ruby Rose needed advanced veterinary care and tender foster care. 

Heather and her three other babies have since been adopted.

Ruby Rose is spunky and chatty, and very interested in engaging with people and playing with her toys.

Twinkie is the tiniest of dogs -- only 3 pounds! -- but he has enormous unconditional love to share with you.  He is a super cute, super sweet Yorkshire Terrier, neutered boy, 10 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Another shelter asked us to rescue Twinkie because of his dental needs.  We had his teeth cleaned and he is now ready for a forever home.  An experienced home is required for his safety due to his exceptionally small size.

We are Cocker Spaniel & Scottish Terrier mix puppies now ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update 2: Jellybean was adopted on November 11th! Update: Licorice was adopted on November 9th! Licorice and Jellybean , brother and sister, are nicknamed " The Sweet Candy Puppies " due to their affectionate, adorable temperaments. They are most likely Retriever mixes and may grow to medium or large size. They are spayed/neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The Sweet Candy Puppies were rescued after being found abandoned on the streets. Jellybean was injured with a hairline fracture in her right rear leg. We had her leg treated and it had been bandaged and she was resting for nearly a month. She recovered beautifully. Licorice and Jellybean can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They are terrific together!
