Silver Dollar is both a loving sweetheart and a grumpy grouch.

Even though a tiny boy he does not hesitate to defend himself when he believes harm is about to come his way again, usually from strangers or quick movements.

Recovering from his previous abuse and cruelty will take time and patience in an experienced, adult-only home.

Silver Dollar is a Yorkshire Terrier, neutered male, at least 7 years of age, debuting for adoption today.

He enjoys other dogs and needs regular grooming care.

Besides recovering from past abuse, Silver Dollar has another special need. He has no teeth and requires a soft food diet. Please consult with your veterinarian for guidance.

In a quiet home Silver Dollar can realize his tremendous potential.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update 2: Jellybean was adopted on November 11th! Update: Licorice was adopted on November 9th! Licorice and Jellybean , brother and sister, are nicknamed " The Sweet Candy Puppies " due to their affectionate, adorable temperaments. They are most likely Retriever mixes and may grow to medium or large size. They are spayed/neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The Sweet Candy Puppies were rescued after being found abandoned on the streets. Jellybean was injured with a hairline fracture in her right rear leg. We had her leg treated and it had been bandaged and she was resting for nearly a month. She recovered beautifully. Licorice and Jellybean can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They are terrific together!
