The dangers outdoors were an unnecessary risk for me.

Thankfully, an observant person noticed that a cat had slithered up under the car during a recent, cold day.

Otherwise, Laverne may have been injured or killed by the fanbelt, which happens to countless cats each year who seek refuge from the rain or chill in car engines.

Laverne is a darling, petite youngster with expressive eyes. She is mostly white with torbie markings, spayed, and about one year of age.

Laverne is compatible with other sweet cats and she enjoys gentle people especially.

She is ready for adoption today in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA. Please ask for her by name.
