Our lives almost ended violently.

Update: Pine Cone & Acorn were adopted together on December 23rd!

Pine Cone & Acorn
are brother and sister, very strongly bonded due surely in part to surviving early trauma together.

They are most likely Chihuahua & Shih-Tzu mixes and we believe they will remain small in size. They are spayed/neutered and just under 3 months of age.

One of our staff found Pine Cone & Acorn on the shoulder of a busy road, packed into a small crate that was just inches from the tires of the cars whizzing by at great speeds.

The pair are very playful, surprisingly confident, and exceptionally cute.

We give strong preference to keeping them together. They cry when separated.

Pine Cone & Acorn debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
