A man hiking in the desert spotted a small motion, and as he drew closer he was surprised to see this little being run to him pleading for help.

Sunny is a gentle ferret, 6 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA
She occasionally gives love bites, especially when it's time for meals, so an experienced home is best for her.

We have no idea how long Sunny had been in the desert prior to her rescue. It is unconscionably cruel to dispose of an animal to fall prey to starvation, predators, and more. Through the years we have saved all of the following from desert abandonment: cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, peacocks, pot belly pigs, and domesticated turtles.
