Sunny

Image
A man hiking in the desert spotted a small motion, and as he drew closer he was surprised to see this little being run to him pleading for help. Sunny is a gentle ferret, 6 years of age and spayed, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    She occasionally gives love bites, especially when it's time for meals, so an experienced home is best for her. We have no idea how long Sunny had been in the desert prior to her rescue. It is unconscionably cruel to dispose of an animal to fall prey to starvation, predators, and more. Through the years we have saved all of the following from desert abandonment: cats, dogs, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, peacocks, pot belly pigs, and domesticated turtles.

Jose

Jose loves being your baby, cradled in your arms and reassured, knowing he can count on you for kindness. A woman spotted this cute youngster scrounging for scraps of food at a dumpster near a commercial business. Seeing that he was obviously starving, she overcame her fear and captured him so he could be brought into safety at Nevada SPCA . Jose is 2 years of age, neutered, good with other ferrets, and ready for adoption today.    Please help us find him a proper, stable home where he will never know desperate hunger and loneliness again.
