Jasper's captured smile.

We happened to capture the moment this morning when Jasper noticed a special face. While he was getting his picture taken he saw the woman who rescued him enter the courtyard. His eyes say it all (so please double-click on the third image).

Jasper is a cute and friendly boy, a blend of many small breeds (including Pomeranian, Longhair Chihuahua, and Spaniel), 6 years of age and neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

At the time of rescue Jasper was caught being discarded in a cardboard box and the man was "shoo-ing" Jasper away with voice and arms from getting out of the box. The woman witnessing this heartbreak happened to be a Nevada SPCA staff person and she comforted Jasper in her arms and placed him safely in the shelter with other dogs to bond and play with.
