Donny, a peaceful boy traumatized by repeated violence.

When Donny was turned into another shelter, his previous owner reportedly said his injuries were from repeated attacks by other dogs. Donny's hind right leg was severely broken beyond repair.

We rescued Donny and had his amputation surgery performed at a local veterinary clinic.

Despite being plump, he is healing very well and adjusting to life on three legs.  Donny is a Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix) with a jolly temperament, 9 years of age, a neutered boy, ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Please help us find him a responsible, violence-free, loving forever home.
