Lucinda, a young girl who somehow survived abandonment at Red Rock Canyon.

Lucinda is not ready for adoption yet, but she is now safe and we want to share her story with you.

A man and his daughter were hiking today in the Calico Basin of Red Rock Canyon and she came out of a bush and crawled to them, desperate for help.

Lucinda is skin & bones and weak from dehydration. It's remarkable that she somehow survived the coyotes.

She is a chocolate & white Lop bunny, less than a year of age, and being a domesticated rabbit she relies on humans for survival and had no chance on her own.

We will get Lucinda back to good health and then get her spayed and ready for adoption.
