Promise to shield me from evil, hunger, and despair.

Lindsey's wise eyes also reveal great warmth.

Her face is still gaunt from starvation/emaciation, but she is steadily regaining weight and spirit now that she is eating premium, probiotic food.

Lindsey's history is mostly unknown.  She was a stray on the streets captured by an animal control officer who took her to a government-funded shelter.  That shelter asked for Nevada SPCA's help because she was so severely underweight.

Lindsey is a medium-size Retriever mix, about 4 years of age, spayed girl, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

We want this sweetheart to never know hunger or loneliness again.
