Every day with my soul-mate is a beautiful day.

Brandy & Buddy Brandy & Buddy Brandy & Buddy are cheerful, light-hearted seniors, and they are surprisingly young at heart! They are Beagles, sister and brother, and so strongly bonded that they need to remain together forever. Brandy & Buddy are 11 years of age, spayed/neutered, and available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued the pair from another shelter. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these remarkably cute portraits to help them find a loving, forever home.

Abby, a charismatic young Pekingese for adoption.

Image
Abby is an easy-going, very affable young beauty with the sweetest temperament.  She is a Pekingese, 3 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Abby's right eye was severely prolapsed and could not be saved.  But Abby is adjusting well to life with one eye, and she adores dogs and people. She has enormous charm!

Please look at me and comfort me.

Booba is a baby-faced boy with magical eyes and you can see his plea for love and understanding.  He is a kind Poodle, about 9 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Booba likes other gentle dogs and he needs regular professional grooming.  We rescued him from another shelter where he ran out of time.

Foxy, a 7-pound, 11-year-old Yorkshire Terrier for adoption.

Image
Foxy relishes giving you doggie kisses.  She is a petite (7 pounds), affectionate Yorkshire Terrier, about 11 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Foxy is good with other friendly dogs and reportedly housetrained.  Another shelter asked us to rescue her from them because she had a mammary tumor.  We had Foxy's tumor removed (it was benign) and she has healed beautifully.  Please help us find someone wonderful for this dainty older girl.

I can be your very own angel.

Image
Mousie is a dainty, bright little lady with a quiet nature and she is debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Mousie is a Malti-Poo (Maltese & Toy Poodle mix), 5 years of age, spayed, housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with other sweet dogs.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming.   Mousie needed us when her elderly previous owner could no longer care for her properly.

Will you let me bring you joy and unconditional love?

Image
Jo Jo is a calm-natured, smart youngster handsomely wearing a natural tuxedo.  He is a Chihuahua & Pomeranian mix, under 2 years of age, neutered boy, ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Jo Jo is housetrained, crate-trained, good with dogs, and reportedly compatible with kids who like to play ball with him.  Jo Jo loves being with you as much as possible, even sleeping under the covers.  He needed us when his previous owner lost her job and home.

I do not understand why I had a deadline.

Image
Nicky is a jolly, baby-faced little boy who we rescued from another shelter when he ran out of time there.  We gave him a teeth-cleaning, and some of his teeth had to be extracted, but he has recovered very well and he is now debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Nicky is a "Chug" (Chihuahua & Pug mix), about 8 years of age, neutered, and great with other friendly dogs.  He has tremendous unconditional love to share with you.

Why did she stop loving us?

Image
Leigh & Tippi are very gentle, very pretty young guinea pigs debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA in our Lovebugs Room.  The girls are strongly bonded and need to remain together forever.  They are shy with strangers, but warm up to those they trust.  Leigh is an Abyssinian and Tippi is an American breed, and both are 2 years young.  Their previous owner just did not want them anymore.

Ralphie, a 14-year-old little sweetheart who needs a hero.

Image
Ralphie cannot understand why he became homeless at 14 years of age when he did nothing wrong.  He's smaller than a handbag, but they said they just could not take him to where they were moving. Ralphie is well-behaved and humble, housetrained, good with dogs and children of all ages. He is a small Terrier mix, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. We had dental cleaning done for him and most of his teeth had to be extracted. Please help find Ralphie a hero.

I think you will fall in love with me.

Pupcake feels like a prince, living in the moment and never fretting for a second about his leg.  Pupcake is a very playful baby boy, a chocolate & white Heinz 57 with Jack Russell Terrier and other breeds (expected to grow to medium size), 4 months of age, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue he had been bit by a car, his back right leg crushed.  Pupcake healed beautifully from the amputation, thanks to a very loving foster mom who helped him recover in a comfortable, compassionate home environment.  Pupcake enjoys being with dogs of all sizes.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Can you please comfort me?

Image
Manicotti must wonder why the world has been so rough and challenging when she is full of such goodness and innocence.  But brighter days are coming and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Manicotti is an outgoing, fun-loving Bully mix, 3 years young, now spayed, and good with kids of all ages.  Manicotti's previous family became homeless and began living out of their car.  They could not find enough for her to eat.  Her family had given her love though and she adores people with all of her heart.  Please help share her picture to help Manicotti get a forever home.

Why was I thrown away so recklessly in regard to my safety?

Image
Jimmy has some of the most vivid facial expressions we can recall seeing on a guinea pig.  You can read his heart and mind just by watching his eyes and cute mouth.  Jimmy is an Abyssinian guinea pig, about 1 year of age, now ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA in our Lovebugs Room.  He is outgoing, full of character, and a bit chatty.  At the time of rescue Jimmy had been abandoned during the recent rainstorm in a taped-up box and left on a schoolyard.

The outdoors is not safe for me. Please keep me safely inside with you.

Image
Sir Tiggers is a charismatic baby boy and a terrific snuggler.  He debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Sir Tiggers is already very proper and well-mannered, an orange tabby kitten, about 8 months of age, and now neutered.  Please kitten-proof your home for his safety. He was found on the streets with no momma or siblings in sight.  Please come meet and adopt this loving baby boy and provide him a lifelong, indoor-only home.

Let me be your lifelong sweetheart.

Image
Jasmine is a darling young girl with the sweetest spirit and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Yorkshire Terrier, about 1 year of age, spayed, and good with other dogs.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming. Jasmine was picked up off of the streets as a stray and taken to another shelter.  She was lactating, but her puppies could not be found.  The shelter asked Nevada SPCA to rescue her because they could not spay her at that time.  We kept Jasmine comfortable until she stopped lactating and then had her spayed and prepared for adoption.  Please help us find a loving, forever home for this little angel.

Would they have kept me if I was skinny?

Image

Carmela, a 15-year old cat who needs a hero.

Image

I can bring you so much fun!!

Will you throw me away too?

Image
What was TJ doing on the streets of Las Vegas? We traced his microchip back to a shelter in California, but not to a previous owner.  The CA shelter said TJ was named there for " Traffic Jam ", because he was crawling under moving cars on a busy street in Long Beach. TJ needs someone who can make a lifetime commitment to him and never fail him again. He is a tender-hearted Chihuahua, about 7 years of age, neutered boy, great with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  His front legs are bowed (birth defect), but he can walks well. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this heartfelt portrait to help TJ find a loving, forever home.

When least expected, I became a hero!

Image
Homeless at 12 years of age, with massive tumors on her neck and side, Harli may be the unlikeliest of heroes.  But her fortunes have taken a miraculous turn for her and another senior dog! Harli was surrendered to us a few days ago by her previous owner, who lost the family home to foreclosure.  Her tumors have advanced to the point that a veterinarian recommended we find her a hospice-like home to keep her comfortable during her remaining months.  She is not suffering, so there is no reason to end her life.  She was adopted to a woman named Teresa, with a senior dog named Jasper, also a Bully mix.  Jasper adores Harli and he is overjoyed with his new sister.  Teresa says that Jasper's tail hasn't stopped wagging since Harli joined their family.  And Jasper is going blind, so Harli is helping him handle this disability and keeping his spirits uplifted.  Teresa is our hero, and Harli's hero, but Harli is Jasper's hero!

Please always keep me safely and comfortably indoors.

Image
Confetti was found on the roof of an abandoned house.  Her lonely days are behind her and she is so ready to embrace the love and kindness of someone she can call her own.  Confetti is an affectionate, attractive Calico, about 2 years young, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this sweet portrait to help Confetti find a forever home.

Why did she reject me? Did I do something wrong?

Image
Bambi is a snugglebug with an exceptionally affectionate nature and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. She is a Terrier & Toy mix, about 3 years young, spayed, housetrained, crate-trained, and compatible with dogs and mature kids. Bambi needed us when her previous owner had to move in with his son's family and his daughter-in-law reportedly said Bambi was not welcome in their home.

Being with my sister helps me feel complete.

Image
Sugar & Celeste are gorgeous, sunny sisters, Siberian Husky pups debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  The girls are 9 months of age, now spayed, and Husky knowledge/experience is strongly preferred for their adoption.  Generally, we don't require puppies to be adopted together, but in this case it is essential they remain together.  Sugar may cry loudly if Celeste even walks 10 feet away from her.  Please ask for the girls by name when you visit.  They became homeless when their previous family's home was lost to foreclosure.

In your loving care I would like to remain a baby forever.

Image
Howler's tremendous pleasure is falling asleep in the comfort of your arms.  He is a 5-month-old baby boy drawn to kind people and he loves other cats.  Howler is an orange tabby & white kitten, now neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He earned his name at the time of rescue, when he was very vocal and traumatized, but he has mellowed as he come to realize he is safe and loved.  Please help us find Howler a wonderful, forever home.

I will light up your life!

Image
Bella is an endearing, lovable girl with a beautiful spirit.  She is a Yellow Labrador Retriever, approximately 6 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Bella when she ran out of time at another shelter.  She is kind, friendly, and full of unconditional love to share with you.

Langston, a jubilant young Standard Poodle for adoption.

Image
Langston is a social butterfly and we interpret the look of pure joy in his eyes as understanding that his days of severe neglect are over and his future is lovingly bright.  Langston is a 44-pound Standard Poodle, neutered boy, 2 years young, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and needs regular professional grooming.  At the time of rescue Langston had a terrible ear infection, a neck wound from a way-too-tight collar, and he was filthy with knots and mats.  Please give him kind guidance and direction, helping him adjust to living predominantly indoors for the first time in his life.

They say we have a heavenly countenance.

Image
Glimmer Paw Paw Glimmer and Paw Paw are radiant young siblings, sister and brother, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. They needed us when their previous owner took them to a pet motel in Las Vegas, then never came back for them. They are reportedly Bluetick Coonhound mixes, but we believe they are more likely Foxhound mixes.  They are just a year of age, spayed/neutered, and very friendly. Glimmer loves to charm you with her beaming smile and Paw Paw likes to sit in your lap and then try to roll over on his back for belly rubs. They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting the pair for lifelong companionship.

I simply just want to be loved.

Image
This angelic boy, who we named Dakota , must have had a guardian angel of his own.  He was witnessed being run over by an SUV and left for dead, but the witness found him alive and brought him to us.  We had Dakota x-rayed and, miraculously, though traumatized, not a single broken bone was found.  Today, Dakota triumphantly debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He is an earnest, gentle Golden Retriever & Husky mix, about 5 years of age, neutered, and very sweet.

Why couldn't I move too?

Image
Marilyn is a darling young girl who loves being with and playing with other sweet dogs.  She is a petite Toy Poodle mix, 3 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Marilyn is reportedly housetrained and fine with mature kids, and she needs regular professional grooming.  She needed us when her previous owner moved and said she could not take Marilyn with her.

I will remind you daily that life is precious and beautiful.

Image
Callie's 13 years have helped bless her with grace, wisdom, and contentment.  We love this mellow girl and hope you will help us find her a wonderful forever home.  Callie is a calico shorthair with emerald eyes and she is spayed and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Callie is affectionate and she will do beautifully in a gentle, calm home environment.  Please ask for Callie by name when you visit.

I am smaller than the suitcases they kept.

Image
Sandy is still forlorn about losing her previous home (when her owners moved away without her), but the pep is coming back in her step thanks to loving attention from volunteers.  Sandy is a very petite Cocker Spaniel, about 9 years of age, spayed, housetrained, great with kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Sandy likes to play ball and she is wonderfully sweet and humble.  Please help us find someone amazing who will never fail her.

Bubba, an adorable English Bulldog debuting for adoption.

Image
Bubba is a very charming, lovable bundle of joy and character debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He is an English Bulldog, about 8 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained, and reportedly compatible with most dogs.  Bubba adores people, but he does not like young kids (who he fears may tease him) or vacuum cleaners.  English Bulldog knowledge is strongly preferred for his adoption.

Being adopted by someone kind would be my dream come true.

Image
Dudley is a handsome, debonair fellow with such an agreeable, friendly personality.  He is an American & Peruvian mix guinea pig with liver & white coloring, about 4 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The angelic faces of Myasia.

Image
Myasia has the most beautiful, expressive face, as well as enormous sunny charm.  She brightens every room she walks into.   She is a medium-size German Shepherd mix, about 5 years of age, spayed, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   Myasia needed us when her previous owner became homeless.   Please ask for this social, very loving girl by name when you visit.

Sugar Bee needs a hero.

Image
Sugar Bee is a demure little lady starved for love and kindness and she is recovering well from very severe neglect.  (We rescued her from another shelter and she was unrecognizable under years of mats and knots.)  Sugar Bee is a Shih-Tzu, 5 years of age, spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting today for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming.  Special Needs: She has a major overbite, but eats normally, and cherry eye in both eyes, but two veterinarians recommended against surgical repair as this is only a cosmetic issue for her at this time.  Please help us find Sugar Bee a hero so her emotional recovery can continue.

I am so grateful that my babies are now safe.

Image
Kylar is a gorgeous young girl who loves to lay peacefully on your lap.  She is a blue & cream shorthair (dilute tortoiseshell), only 18 months of age, now spayed and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  At the time of rescue Kylar was struggling to keep her 5 babies alive on the mean streets.  She was a good momma and all of her kittens survived, and they remain in foster care (until they are old enough for spay/neuter and adoption).  Please ask for Kylar by name when you visit.

Doesn't anyone want me?

Image
Buzz longs to be cherished and adored. He is still a puppy, approximately 8 months of age, a small Terrier mix, neutered, and available for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Buzz is great with other dogs of all sizes. Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. We rescued Buzz from another shelter, where he ran out of time. Special thanks to Pet'ographique for these terrific portraits to help him find a loving, forever home.

I am starting to believe that I am worthy of being loved.

Image
Snickers is a golden-eyed, golden-hearted baby boy debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is an incredibly cute Chihuahua puppy, about 6 months of age, neutered, and compatible with cats and dogs.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Snickers just longs to be loved.  His previous owner admitted to making him live mainly outdoors, which is unacceptable, without any toys.  Let's find him someone amazing who will ensure he lives predominantly indoors as a cherished member of the family.

My soul-mate makes me feel loved and safe.

Image
Princess & Patches are angelic soul-mates who want to remain together forever.  We rescued the pair from another shelter, where they had landed because of their previous owner's failing health.  Princess is a girl, Pekingese & Shih-Tzu mix, spayed, 9 years of age.  Patches is a boy, Toy & Terrier mix, neutered, 4 years of age.  Both are sweet and loving, and need regular brushing and grooming.  Princess & Patches debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please help us find them a wonderful home.

Do you have any love for me?

Image
Rambo may have a tough guy name, but he is the sweetest, gentlest baby boy and all he wants is to be loved and appreciated.  He is a Chihuahua & Poodle mix puppy, about 3 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Rambo enjoys other dogs and he is drawn to kind, soft-spoken people.  He needed us due to his previous owner's financial hardship.

I would love to share all of my enthusiasm with you.

Image

I would love for you to think of me as a gem you will always cherish.

Image
Ruby is an incredibly sweet youngster who enjoys being held and brushed and adored.  She is a smoke tabby & white shorthair with brilliant, jewel-like eyes, a spayed girl just one year of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  One of our volunteers found her taped up in a box without food or water and she was understandably in deep distress.  But she is grateful for kindness and her loving spirit survived the cruelty.  Please ask for Ruby by name when you visit.

Cocoa, a lovely Chocolate Labrador Retriever for adoption.

Image
Cocoa is a loyal, alert girl who likes stability and order.  She is a lovely Chocolate Labrador Retriever, about 3 years of age, spayed, housetrained, crate-trained, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Cocoa is fine with cats and most dogs, especially small ones (but fears big dogs due to previously being attacked).  She is also wary of adult men until she knows she can trust them.  Once she accepts you and knows your intentions, she is as good as gold! Cocoa needed us when her previous owners lost their home and employment.
