I had given up hope that anyone would ever really love me.

Update: Coconut was adopted on November 18th!

We are encouraged to see a spark returning to this little girl's eyes.

It is the look of a spirit coming back to life, becoming hopeful, daring to believe in people again.

We rescued her from another shelter that ran out of space to keep her and we named her Coconut.  She is a Lhasa Apso, spayed, about 4 years of age.

Coconut was a tangled mess, full of knots and dirt.  Her anatomy reveals that her previous owner not only severely neglected her, but exploited her repeatedly for breeding before discarding her on the streets.

Shaving off years of mess and matts, a beautiful angel was revealed.

Coconut is warming up to people beautifully, though understandably reserved at first.  However, she wants no part of any other dogs being around her.  At this time, she needs to be the only dog in the home.

Please plan on regular professional grooming care for her so that she always looks and feels good and healthy.

Twinkie is the tiniest of dogs -- only 3 pounds! -- but he has enormous unconditional love to share with you.  He is a super cute, super sweet Yorkshire Terrier, neutered boy, 10 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Another shelter asked us to rescue Twinkie because of his dental needs.  We had his teeth cleaned and he is now ready for a forever home.  An experienced home is required for his safety due to his exceptionally small size.

We are Cocker Spaniel & Scottish Terrier mix puppies now ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update 2: Jellybean was adopted on November 11th! Update: Licorice was adopted on November 9th! Licorice and Jellybean , brother and sister, are nicknamed " The Sweet Candy Puppies " due to their affectionate, adorable temperaments. They are most likely Retriever mixes and may grow to medium or large size. They are spayed/neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The Sweet Candy Puppies were rescued after being found abandoned on the streets. Jellybean was injured with a hairline fracture in her right rear leg. We had her leg treated and it had been bandaged and she was resting for nearly a month. She recovered beautifully. Licorice and Jellybean can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They are terrific together!
