We debated among ourselves about his breed make-up, and settled on Border Collie mix as the most likely option. But his beautiful blend of breeds not only makes him unique, but gives him piercing blue eyes. He is neutered and just one year of age.
We sing the praises of the mixed breeds, the blended breeds, who so often are skipped over when visitors search for purebreeds or puppies. But like Emery, the Heinz 57 dogs are sparkling jewels too.
Emery will do best with an active lifestyle. Perhaps he can have a "job" to do, perhaps helping you turn out the lights at night, close the curtains, put the kids to bed, or otherwise accompany you around your house and yard to make everything orderly and just so.
