I am a senior who needs a second chance, please.

Update: Happy was adopted on December 11th!

Another shelter contacted us when Happy was surrendered to them and asked us to consider taking her because of her advanced age.

Jolly despite losing her home, and her hearing -- she is deaf or nearly deaf -- we decided we certainly had to make room for Happy so that we could find her a loving home where she can live the rest of her life in dignity.

Today she debuts for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  She is a Beagle and Terrier mix, spayed female, about 13 years old.  Her teeth are now cleaned and she is on weight maintenance food (because she is beyond pleasantly plump).

Happy adores people and dogs.  She is gentle and mellow, and we believe she can fit well into most leisurely lifestyles with ease.  Please give her serious consideration.  While we do not know whether she has several months to live, or several more years, every day is precious.
