I need a responsible, committed owner.

Update: Leven was adopted on September 4th!

Leven
was one of the countless animals on the dangerous streets, fortunately rescued before he was struck by a vehicle or met other harm.

But he had no ID tags and no microchip, indicating he was either thrown out intentionally or with a reckless owner who failed to take even the basic precautions necessary to keep him identified in the event he got loose.

Leven deserves better, as all animals do -- they depend and rely on people for their survival -- and we are eager to find him a forever home where he knows he will be safe and cherished every day.

He is an adorable youngster with very expressive eyes and a gentle spirit.

Leven is apprehensive with new people, wondering who intends him harm, perhaps due to past abuse (physical and/or screaming).

He is a Terrier & Toy mix, neutered male, 2 years young, debuting for adoption today. We believe he will do best in a quiet home, with another dog he can bond with too.
