Adopt-An-Adult-Cat Week at Nevada SPCA.

We have more than 200 rescued, friendly, loving, sweet, and enchanting felines for adoption in the free-roaming Cat Condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA.

In tribute to Adopt-An-Adult-Cat Week, from Monday (August 23rd) through Saturday (August 28th) the adoption fees for adult cats are reduced 50% to just $20. This even includes all standard adoption benefits -- spay/neuter, major vaccines, microchip ID, and food!

Please join us and give a rescued cat a forever home. Our staff and volunteers will be happy to help you find cats with the personality types you believe will be the best fit for you and your family.

Please note that Nevada SPCA requires indoor-only homes for cats for their safety and protection.

Nevada SPCA's adoption hours: 11am-4pm Monday through Thursday, 11pm-5pm on Friday and Saturday.

Twinkie is the tiniest of dogs -- only 3 pounds! -- but he has enormous unconditional love to share with you.  He is a super cute, super sweet Yorkshire Terrier, neutered boy, 10 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Another shelter asked us to rescue Twinkie because of his dental needs.  We had his teeth cleaned and he is now ready for a forever home.  An experienced home is required for his safety due to his exceptionally small size.

We are Cocker Spaniel & Scottish Terrier mix puppies now ready for adoption into loving, forever homes.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update 2: Jellybean was adopted on November 11th! Update: Licorice was adopted on November 9th! Licorice and Jellybean , brother and sister, are nicknamed " The Sweet Candy Puppies " due to their affectionate, adorable temperaments. They are most likely Retriever mixes and may grow to medium or large size. They are spayed/neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The Sweet Candy Puppies were rescued after being found abandoned on the streets. Jellybean was injured with a hairline fracture in her right rear leg. We had her leg treated and it had been bandaged and she was resting for nearly a month. She recovered beautifully. Licorice and Jellybean can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They are terrific together!
