I am trying to show you my magnificent personality.

Update: Rusty was adopted on November 5th!

The bigger dogs, especially mixed breeds, have such a harder time attracting adopters, even when they have beaming, fun-loving natures like Rusty.

Rusty came to us from another rescue because he was there a long time, mistakenly overlooked by their visitors.

We are hoping with his jazzy new portrait and web presence with us that we will score him a tremendous new home in short order.

Rusty is a Heinz 57 with brilliant red coloring, most likely a Retriever and Chow Chow mix. He is neutered, 2 years young, and debuting for adoption today.

Besides his wonderful temperament and good looks, he is well-behaved. He is housetrained (with a doggie door) and compatible with dogs and kind children.

Please visit Nevada SPCA and ask to spend time with Rusty in our courtyard.
