How can I tell who is kind and who is cruel?

Update: Gracie was adopted on June 28th!

This puppy has been the victim of repeated beatings.

Unsure of people, and with very low self-esteem, the world does not seem like such a loving place.

But Gracie wants to believe in people. We hope this feature helps attract a gentle, caring, tender person or couple to help her emerge from her shell.

Gracie is a beautiful Pointer mix, spayed female, 9 months of age.

We rescued her from another shelter.

Gracie debuts for adoption today.

Bailey, a rescued Cocker Spaniel ready to begin his new life.

Bailey is a gentle Cocker Spaniel who was at another shelter with a severely damaged eye.  We rescued him, had his eye removed at a veterinary hospital, and then placed him in a loving foster home so he could heal in peace and begin his adjustment to life with one eye in a home environment.  Bailey is about 8 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.
