Update: Calm was adopted on March 1st!One of the countless animals abandoned in the desert every year was this sweetheart who was given the name "Calm" by his rescuer.
Little ones his size don't last long in the desert wilds, of course. A good Samaritan on a hike saved him as he was being mauled by a big dog, who had apparently also been abandoned out there.
Now safe with us, his personality blooming, we find that Calm, ironically, is quite an energetic and playful boy.
He is an endearing Chihuahua, neutered male, about 5 years of age.
Calm is fine with other dogs, but understandably fearful of big ones.
Please adopt him and ensure that he never feels the desolation and tragedy of rejection ever again.
