I am worth my weight in gold.

Update: Chica was adopted on November 16th!

Humble and unassuming, this quiet-natured sweetheart will fit very well into a calmer home.

Chica is spayed and about 2 years young. She is a shorthair "torbie" with sparkling patches of gold blended into brown tabby markings on a mostly white coat.

Chica gets along with other independent and gentle cats.

She needed us when her owner surrendered her (without giving a reason). As regular readers of this blog already know, the vast majority of animals surrendered into shelters and rescue programs have done nothing wrong.

In other words, the dumping reflects more on the person doing the deed than on the animals who are generally the innocent victims of human weakness.

Chica is ready today to become a spectacular, devoted member of your family. Please ask for her by name when visiting The Catnip Cabana, which is one of the free-roaming cat condo playrooms at Nevada SPCA.
