A lifetime commitment to Red-Eared Slider Turtles like me may be a long obligation.

Update: Felicia was adopted on September 23rd!

Felicia
is a large adult female with a shell exceeding 8 inches in length.

A Red-Eared Slider Turtle, she is semi-aquatic and spends most of her time underwater, though she enjoys basking areas in her tank to temporarily crawl out of the water.

Felicia is an excellent swimmer and needs a large area to swim in. Because of her size, she should not be around very small or newborn turtles, but bonding with another larger female turtle is a possibility.

She needs an owner knowledgeable about turtles who is willing and able to give her good care, beginning with strong water filters in her tank or pond and frequent water changes.

Felicia is available for adoption today in the sitting area at the center of the Cat Condos.

Please only consider her if you can fully commit to making her a member of your family for decades to come. Our best guess is that she is approximately 8-10 years of age, so she may live for 20-25 more years.
