I still believe in the basic goodness of people.

Update: Dash was adopted on September 28th!

Severe abuse made Dash wary of new people, to the extent that nipping and snapping became his only defense to fears of a new beating.

He has made progress with us following his rescue, but trusting people again in general will take time and patience in an experienced home.

To err on the safe side for dog bite prevention, he should have no access to young children.

We believe Dash will do best in a home with another dog (or dogs). He is social and enjoys the company of other dogs. This can help him feel like he belongs to his new pack (new family) and adjust that much quicker and easier.

Dash is an exceptionally handsome Miniature Pinscher. He is neutered and approximately 18 months of age.

Dash debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. You can help confirm his belief that people are worth loving and can be trusted to make lifetime commitments with tender loving care.
