Virtue, now healing.

Virtue, day of rescue.
Virtue is now shaved down, eating premium food, spayed, and up-to-date on vaccines. Emotionally though, her healing will take much, much longer. 
 
In addition to the extreme neglect, Virtue reportedly witnessed horrors that have traumatized her and resulted in a deep fear of people.

Virtue is a Maltese & Toy Poodle mix, 8 years of age, and debuting for a hero adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 
 
She is compatible with cats and dogs (and we believe she is likely to adjust best in a home with a big sister or brother dog). 
 
When very fearful, she is nippy, so an experienced, adult-only home is essential for her continued progress.

Twinkie is the tiniest of dogs -- only 3 pounds! -- but he has enormous unconditional love to share with you.  He is a super cute, super sweet Yorkshire Terrier, neutered boy, 10 years of age, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Another shelter asked us to rescue Twinkie because of his dental needs.  We had his teeth cleaned and he is now ready for a forever home.  An experienced home is required for his safety due to his exceptionally small size.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Bailey, a rescued Cocker Spaniel ready to begin his new life.

Bailey is a gentle Cocker Spaniel who was at another shelter with a severely damaged eye.  We rescued him, had his eye removed at a veterinary hospital, and then placed him in a loving foster home so he could heal in peace and begin his adjustment to life with one eye in a home environment.  Bailey is about 8 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. He enjoys other dogs and adores people who snuggle with him.  Please help us find Bailey a forever home where he will be cherished and showered with affection.
