Update 3: Yucca was adopted on July 28th!
Update 2: Yucca remains available for adoption. Agave was adopted on July 26th!
Update: Agave and Yucca remain available for adoption. Their 4 siblings were adopted on July 24th!
At the time of rescue these 6 babies were in dangerous heat distress, suffering in a local backyard. Fortunately, all were successfully cooled down and survived.
We nicknamed them "The Cactus Crew Puppies". They are now spayed/neutered, 3 months of age, and debuting for adoption today.
Pictured here are sisters Sequoia & Agave. You can see their sister Ocotillo and brothers Barrel, Joshua, and Yucca on Nevada SPCA's main web site at www.nevadaspca.org.
It is too soon to make a strong guess on their breed make-ups. But we suspect they may have Beagle and Corgi in them, perhaps growing to just medium size.
Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.
We hope you will consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship, but they can certainly be adopted separately.
