It confused me that the people I loved deliberately hurt me.

Update: Nahla was adopted on September 2nd!

Nahla
yearns to believe in people again.

The monsters who had her before failed to understand what a brilliant little treasure she is.

Recovering from abuse will take plenty of time and patience in an experienced, adult-only home with a stable lifestyle routine.

We rescued Nahla from another shelter on the last possible day prior to euthanasia.

Nahla has a heart of gold, but she is wary to let down her emotional walls out of fear she will be struck or screamed at again.

She is a Pomeranian, spayed female, about 6 years of age.

Nahla enjoys other dogs and may do best with another dog in the home. She also needs regular brushing and grooming.

If you have a quiet home and a tender heart, please consider helping her continue to emerge from her shell and help her believe in people again.
