Update: Christine was adopted on December 17th!

Upon arrival from being rescued from other shelters, we like to welcome the dogs warmly and immediately try to help them understand they are now safe and off-the-clock (i.e., no deadlines).

Christine though was wary, dodging her head with the tell-tale sign of previous abuse.

Unfortunately, this is common. But fortunately, rebuilding trust and self-esteem is something we are happy to help with and committed to achieving.

Christine has a heart of gold and she has shown good improvement in a short time. She may tend to remain on the shy side and better suited in a gentle home.

She is a Chihuahua with distinct ears and lovely eyes. She is spayed and approximately 2 years of age.

Christine enjoys other dogs. We would love to see her adopted to a new home where she can be with another dog (or dogs).

Christine debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
