Brock's face reveals deep emotional pain.    He has known cruelty and ultimate rejection. He was found tied to a tree and abandoned. He flinches from fast hand movements. Brock is a sensitive Mastiff mix pleading for a gentle hero he can devote himself to loving.    He is 5 years of age, neutered, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA . An adult-only home is required at this time due to his fear of new people.

Fabian calms around gentle people. A peaceful home environment with a steady lifestyle routine is ideal for this sensitive young boy. The circumstances of his escalating anxiety in his previous home are unclear. He was reportedly treated for severe canine depression at one point. Bubba , an earnest junior puppy, loves to swim, snack on carrots, snuggle, and go for walks. Bubba is an attractive blend of many breeds, perhaps including Dane, Mastiff, and Dutch Shepeherd, 10 months of age. He is housetrained & crate-trained, good with other large dogs, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Bubba reportedly gets very anxious around young children and gets troubled when they cry, yell, or play too boisterously. An adult-only home is ideal for him, or a home where all of the children are much older and very gentle and mature.

Anthony , a super sweet baby boy, worries about strangers and craves gentle reassurance. Indications suggest he was in an unstable home at best and may have endured and witnessed domestic violence. We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.

Ryker is a sensitive young boy who becomes very devoted to the people he bonds with.    He is a stunning Great Dane, 2 years of age, housetrained, good with older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Ryker has two special needs at the moment. First, he doesn't seem to know that he is 100 pounds and intimidating. When he sees someone with a treat he becomes very boisterous. Second, he is wary of strangers and doesn't instantly accept new people. Ryker likes trust to be earned.    So he needs a very experienced owner please with Great Dane knowledge please. Ryker needed us when his previous owners moved overseas.

Baxter pleads for someone to love.    He needed us when his previous owner became homeless and he doesn't understand what happened. Baxter is a bashful Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), neutered boy, 8 years of age, housetrained, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.     He feels most comfortable around quiet and older people, but he is fine with mature kids who he realizes are kind too.

Chopin , a pensive and sensitive youngster, longs for peace-of-mind and awaits adoption at Nevada SPCA. We rescued him from another shelter and his background is otherwise unknown, except that he has endured trauma that has resulted in him fearing strangers and quick hand movements.  Chopin is an especially attractive Chihuahua, 1 year of age and neutered, good with other dogs.  He can reach his full loving potential in a gentle home with a stable lifestyle routine.

Giancarlo , a young Italian Greyhound mix, is very pleased when you tell him he's wonderful. He is sensitive to the tone of every word and gets his feelings hurt if he thinks you are unhappy with him. Giancarlo is 1 year of age, neutered, great with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter that asked for our help due to his timidity.

Beretta is a panda bear-cute youngster who wants to believe in people.  But he is afraid of being hit and fast hand movements near his head or neck terrify him.  Beretta has enormous loving potential and his progress can continue in a loving, stable, forever home.  He is Heinz 57 (blend of breeds) including Bully & Retriever, about 2 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Beretta was found abandoned on the streets.  The man who captured him said he is housetrained and compatible with other dogs.  Please help find Beretta a hero.

Joey is a sensitive young boy pleading for someone kind he can count on for life.  He is an exceptionally attractive Tibetan Terrier mix, perhaps with Toy, under 2 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Joey likes other friendly dogs and a gentle home is ideal for him.  He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his severely injured tail (unknown cause of injury), which had to be amputated.  Joey has healed well and he is ready to begin his new life.

Kai was still too shy to look directly at the camera this morning.  But we are proud of the progress this sensitive boy is making with trust and confidence, thanks to tender care and attention from volunteers and staff.  Kai is a good-looking Lab-Pointer, 4 years of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was found abandoned near one of the busiest, most perilous intersections in Las Vegas with no sign of responsible ownership.  It's clear Kai came from a loveless home, perhaps even a violent one.  Please help us find Kai a serene home environment where he can realize his full loving potential.

Mikey is a Shih-Tzu found in danger on the Vegas streets.  His microchip traced to a previous owner who declared that Mikey was unwanted and had even been sold away on a classified ads web site.  So it's no wonder that Mikey had given up on people.  But volunteers and staff are gently helping him believe in kindness again and he has progressed to the point he is now ready to be adopted to a hero.  Mikey is about 4 years of age, a sensitive boy, neutered, good with other dogs, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

The pain you can see in BJ's face is heartbreaking.  He doesn't yet know he is safe, nor does he fully believe yet that people can be predominantly kind.  We don't how long BJ endured the cruelty before being dumped at another shelter.  But he didn't qualify for adoption there because he was nippy and fearful of new people.  Nevada SPCA rescued him and BJ debuts for adoption today.  BJ is a petite Poodle & Terrier mix, about 5 years of age and neutered.  He is a sensitive boy and his loving potential is enormous.  BJ feels most at ease with other dogs around, so a big brother dog or big sister dog may help his soul heal faster.  Experienced, adult-only home needed.  Please help us find BJ a hero, ensuring that he only knows the best of human nature from now on.

Pepe needs someone gentle and patient to help him recover from neglect and overcome his fear of leashes.  He is an exceptionally sweet Cockapoo, 2 years young, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Pepe is a social boy, though shy, and prefers being around people rather than showing much interest in toys.  He is good with other dogs and needs regular professional grooming.  The circumstances of Pepe's relinquishment are unclear, with his previous owner saying just that getting rid of him was her son's wish.  Pepe needs and deserves better, and we ask for your help so he can reach his full loving potential.
