15 zebra finches -- including Julie , Prince , and Darla -- need loving, responsible, forever homes please.  The birds are very social and need to be adopted in pairs (or larger groups) for lifelong companionship and emotional well-being.  Please visit Nevada SPCA to meet and adopt them.  The birds were surrendered by their previous owner, who is moving out of the country.

Hi Ho Silver Cotton Rosie 50 rescued kittens are ready for adoption today at Nevada SPCA , along with 125 sweet adult felines, all needing responsible homes for life! Hi Ho Silver , 4 months, of a boisterous baby girl, loves to play chase & tag. Cotton , 4 months of age, a Bengal mix, loves meeting new people and having her chin scratched. Rosie , 3 months of age, a lovely tabby, enjoys bonding with cats, dogs, and bunnies.

Easton Weston Easton and Weston , brothers, are vibrant junior puppies with fun-loving personalities and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Easton and Weston are Australian Shepherd & Golden Retriever mixes, almost 7 months of age, good with other dogs, and now neutered. Their previous owners surrendered Easton because he was limping, but intended to sell or breed Weston . We convinced them to surrender both so we could get them neutered and ensure they do not further contribute to the animal overpopulation crisis in southern Nevada.    Easton's front left leg was broken months ago (from massive unknown trauma). Since they did not provide veterinary care for him, his leg bone healed incorrectly. (He walks on all four legs, but about 25% of the time chooses not to put weight on the leg.) Carter Jupiter Zoya 30 rescued motherless kittens and one pregnant cat need foster homes please, including Carter , Jupiter and Zoya . If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person and ask for Lauren. The foster commitments for the kittens is up to 6 weeks (or 3 months for the pregnant rescued cat). Jack and Moe (son and father) Manny Theodore Rats are brilliant and often comical and very friendly. Favored toys include tunnels and mazes, and they frequently eat with their hands then hide their left-overs for future snacking. We just rescued 24 more rats today of all ages -- for an overall total of 54 rats -- from another shelter that asked for our help after they were seized from an animal center in late April.
