Rats are brilliant and often comical and very friendly. Favored toys include tunnels and mazes, and they frequently eat with their hands then hide their left-overs for future snacking.

We just rescued 24 more rats today of all ages -- for an overall total of 54 rats -- from another shelter that asked for our help after they were seized from an animal center in late April. Photographed here are Manny, Jack and Moe (son and father), and Theodore.

Please visit the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA to meet and adopt these wonderful animals who need caring homes where they will be safe and respected.
