Nevada SPCA Animal Rescue

Clarissa , solemn and soulful at only 2 years of age, needs someone to love and wholeheartedly adore. She is a darling girl, a blend of Chihuahua & Miniature Pinscher with especially attractive facial coloration and warm eyes, good with other dogs, housetrained, now spayed and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA .    Clarissa needed us when her previous owners selected an apartment complex that does not allow dogs.

Luau favored activities include playing with cats, exploring new rooms in the house, and being held in kind arms.  She is very social and exceptionally friendly.  Luau is a beautiful ferret, 3 years of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.

Mel Michael Martin Mel , Michael , and Martin were captured in a warehouse and suffering from severe eye infections.   They have since been socialized and nursed to good health in a very loving foster home. Now, they are spayed/neutered (Mel is a girl and Michael and Martin are boys), 4 months of age, and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA. Their foster mom describes them as follows: Mel is the "investigator" and patrols the rooms, Michael is a "little purr engine", and Martin is happiest sitting in your lap.

Talisman , a magical and enchanting youngster, wants someone who will treasure him dearly, for life.  He is a stunning blend of Belgian Shepherd & Siberian Husky, 1 year of age, neutered, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Talisman is compatible with other friendly dogs who are medium in size and larger (but his compatibility with small dogs is currently unknown).  He needed us after he was found on the streets. Talisman's previous owner was found, but failed to reclaim him.  He deserves a responsible, stable owner who can provide him with a safe, loving home.

Levi would love to get to know you.  He is an amiable youngster with a glowing spirit and he debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  Levi is a good-looking Retriever mix, 3 years of age and neutered, good with cats & dogs & kids, plus housetrained too.

Donovan , a perfectly unique and "bouncy little kangaroo", is a young boy who enjoys kids, adults, and dogs.  He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix with blue merle face and body patches and pink nose "rings", 1 year of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Donovan was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).  Please visit and ask for Donovan by name.

Matthew , an adorable and gentle junior puppy, asks for someone to love. He is a Terrier mix, 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    Matthew is housetrained and good with dogs and kids.    He doesn't like loud noises and may thrive best in a calm home environment.    Matthew needed us when his previous owners moved away without him.    Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.

Shasta , a charismatic junior puppy, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.   He is a medium-size (35 pounds) unique blend of breeds, likely including Husky, with a curly-Q tail, 10 months of age, and now neutered.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety. Shasta's enthusiastic greeting to people he knows may alarm and confuse some. He lifts his lips in the "snarl" position, but only to mimic a human smile rather than to send a warning. Shasta is compatible with some dogs, but he can be bossy with other dogs.    He was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).

Addison has so much kindness and wisdom in his young eyes. He just wants to be accepted and enjoys everyone nice he meets.  Addison is a very attractive blend of Beagle & Dachshund, 1 year of age, good with dogs, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership.

Lucas is a peppy, cute, and lovable youngster debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Yorkshire Terrier, 1 year of age, now neutered.  Lucas likes other dogs and looks forward to joining you for fun activities.  He is recovering well from neglect. Lucas was abandoned by his previous owner without background information or any sign of responsible ownership.  Please plan and budget for regular professional grooming.

Tanya greets people with puppy-like joviality and she is terrific with other dogs too.  She is a Heinz 57 with a doe-like appearance, perhaps a Dutch Shepherd mix, 1 year of age and spayed, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  We believe Tanya has the temperament to be exceptional with children. However, she cannot be around cats.  We rescued Tanya from another shelter in the nick of time.

Dempsey is fascinated by every treat, toy, and object you put in his habitat.  He likes people, and being held, then will give you a small love bite when he's ready to be set down.  Dempsey is a Golden Hamster, 6-8 months young, a boy, awaiting adoption in the Lovebugs Room at Nevada SPCA.  We rescued Dempsey from another shelter that asked for our help and his background is otherwise unknown.

Delilah's eyes clearly reveal her plea for someone to love.  Homeless at 10 years of age, then rescued from another shelter, she cannot understand all of the things happening to her.     Delilah is a plump, 100-pound Yellow Labrador Retriever mix, spayed girl, good with most dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. 

Derek , a young and earnest boy, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Labrador Retriever mix, weighing almost 100 pounds, 1 year of age and neutered, and housetrained.  Derek needed us because his previous owners said he is 'too big' and destroyed a remote control.  Please visit and ask for Derek by name.

Princess , a teenager, likes being held and complimented and reassured. It looks like she has a pouty lip, but this is only because she has no teeth left. She is calm-natured and grateful for every bit of kindness.    Princess is a Toy Poodle, spayed girl, good with other dogs, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.    She was rescued from a dangerously busy parking lot with no sign of responsible ownership. Nevada SPCA's adoption hours are 10am-2pm. New Year's Day adoption hours are 10am-5pm.

Cherub , a little angel who steal hearts, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Peke-A-Poo, 3 years young, good with other sweet dogs, and now neutered.  Cherub was found on the streets with no sign of responsible ownership (no ID tag, no microchip ID, not neutered).  He deserves a stable, loving home where he will be treasured.

Odysseus , an adorable baby boy with a loving nature, debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is a Toy & Terrier mix, 4 months of age, good with other dogs, and now neutered.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard thoroughly for his safety. Winnifred , an adorable and cuddly baby girl, awaits adoption at Nevada SPCA.   Her favored activities include chasing fuzzy toys, wrestling with other kittens, and following people around the house.  Winnifred and her sisters (Mary and Sarah) have been lovingly raised and socialized in a foster home since their rescue.  They were discovered after a flash flood, in distress from losing their mother (who could not be found).  Winnifred is now 3 months of age and spayed.

Yankee , a chipper "Schnoodle" junior puppy (Schnauzer & Poodle), wants to understand people and become a valued member of a forever family.  He enjoys other dogs and he is 9 months of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for his safety.  Yankee's previous owner said her two other dogs wouldn't play with him.

Carmine is an earnest youngster who worries people are going to hurt him.  He flinches if you move toward him too quickly.  Carmine is a Toy & Terrier mix, 1 year of age, housetrained, neutered, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  He is good with other dogs and we believe he will adjust best in a home with a big sister or brother dog.  We rescued Carmine from another shelter that asked for our help due to his abusive past.
