Minutes ago Christian (pictured here) and his siblings were just rescued from unconscionable peril at the last possible moment! They are part of the 9 rescued motherless kittens so far today who need foster parents please. Mary Ann & Gilligan are two of the six " Gilligan's Island Kittens " who need loving foster homes today.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm today and ask for Lonnie if you can provide approximately 8 weeks of loving foster care to two or more of the siblings.  Earlier this summer their pregnant mother was found by one of our volunteers, cast away in a cardboard box.  " Miss Howell " and her 6 babies have since been in a temporary foster home.  Miss Howell will soon be spayed and prepared for adoption, but her kittens need several more weeks of fostering for their physical and emotional and social well-being. 

Angie & Tonya are 2 of the 10 motherless young kittens who need loving foster homes today.  Please visit Nevada SPCA before 4pm if you can help and ask for Lonnie.  Thank you in advance for helping share the word for them! Angie & Tonya were covered in mud and dirt at the time of rescue yesterday.  A kind woman saw them scrambling out of the way of a bulldozer that was working on land near her office.  She caught them and raced them to us, very shaken and emotionally overwhelmed by what had occurred in such a short time, but she heroically saved these baby girls.    Angie & Tonya are about 6 weeks of age, eating on their own, and they loving foster care & socialization for approximately 2 months until they are ready to be spayed and prepared for adoption.

We need foster homes today please for rescued pregnant cats who could give birth at any time. Powder Puff , pictured here is a petite, pregnant girl, about 18 months of age, a snow-white sweetheart with sky blue eyes and a gentle demeanor.  She was rescued from the streets. We have a second rescued pregnant cat today too, named Snowy Coconut , who needs a loving, comfortable home environment to birth and raise her babies. For either mom, this is approximately a 3-month foster commitment, ideally in a peaceful room in your home (like a spare bedroom or bathroom). We urgently need loving foster homes today for 8 very young rescued puppies.  Please visit Nevada SPCA in person before 4pm and ask for Lara if you can help.  Sherry , pictured here, is one of four Chihuahua puppies about 1 month of age rescued from a person who was getting rid of them in front of a grocery store.  The puppies were panting in the sun and getting dehydrated.  In addition, we have three rescued Border Collie mix puppies and a Bully mix puppy who also need foster homes.  Please help us reach people today so we can find heroes for these babies.
