Inspiring adoption update on Gandhi (now Dov)!

Inspiring update on Gandhi (now Dov ), an adopted Rottweiler with special needs! Thank you to Hannah, his devoted mom, for the great news and recent pictures: "Dov is as sweet as they come, he's been challenging because he probably had many prior homes, but he's a great friend to my 16 1/2 year old senior girl dog, and just craves love, pets, and oh yes: FOOD! :) Five months in, he's a member of the family now for sure." "He wears these adorable wraps when indoors, because he has occasional incontinence issues. A wonderful Nevada SPCA volunteer made them for us and they have been a godsend. He is 90% outdoor potty trained now, these just prevent the accident here or there." "Cutest behavior: he absolutely loves Zuke's training treats. Each evening before bed, we go out and they get one Zuke's and then he knows he gets another after he goes potty. He looks back at me while he goes, like "I'...

Samurai

Image
Samurai desperately wants to believe in people and build relationships. He yearns for kindness and loves being around those who praise him.    But Samurai remembers abuse and still sometimes winces when hands get near his head. Samurai is a baby-faced Shar Pei mix, 1 year young, neutered boy, debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA .    He was at another shelter that asked for our help due to his past cruelty.    Please share his picture to help find him a hero for life.

Wisdom

Wisdom loves rolling over on his belly in your lap and kissing you while you give him a tummy rub! Wisdom is a big, rotund teddy bear, a baby-faced Rottweiler, 4 years of age and neutered, good with kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA . He may be compatible with other dogs too (unconfirmed).    Wisdom needed us due to his previous owner's financial hardship.    He has dry skin, but he is improving with premium food.

Gandhi

Gandhi , 9, a baby-faced Rottweiler, treasures a leisurely lifestyle and peaceful environment. He is compatible with other large and gentle dogs. Gandhi has arthritis in his back legs, so he likes walks to be short and he enjoys laying on very plush and cozy blankets and pillows. He is neutered and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    We rescued him from another shelter and his background is otherwise unknown. Please help find a hero for Gandhi .

Buddha

Buddha is 116 pounds of love and delights in giving big, happy hugs! Buddha is a Rottweiler, 4 years of age, neutered boy, housetrained & crate-trained, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA.    He is good with older kids and some female dogs (but picky about which dogs he can be around).    Buddha needed us due to his previous owners' financial hardship.
