Please share the kittens' post to help.   Dewey, Huey, and Louie Dewey , Huey , and Louie , baby brothers, also need a foster hero please.  The boys were found by a tourist and there was no sign of their mother.

Charlie craves reassurance and cuddling.  He is very shy, but if you speak to him kindly he gazes deep in your eyes with such longing.  Charlie is an exceptionally attractive Ragdoll mix, neutered boy, 8 years of age, previously declawed (front paws), good with other gentle cats, and ready for adoption at Nevada SPCA. He needed us due to his previous owner's hardship.

Charlie, a rescued Poodle: "I'm worried my heart will just get broken again."

Charlie is an earnest boy who must wonder if he dares to let himself become hopeful again.  He was so matted, and likely unloved, at the time of rescue that we had to have his coat completely shaved off to give him a fresh start.  Charlie is a Miniature Poodle (21 pounds, larger than a Toy Poodle), about 7 years of age, now neutered and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. Charlie loves other dogs and he is beginning to believe in people.  An experienced home is needed for his continuing progress.  Please help Charlie find a hero to help him reach his full loving potential.

Adopt me and I will be your lifelong golden boy.

Update: Charlie was adopted on October 21st! Volunteers and staff are fawning over this sharp, stunning German Shepherd who debuted for adoption yesterday. Charlie is neutered, approximately 4 years of age, knowledgeable with basic training commands, alert, and friendly.  In addition, he is reportedly compatible with kids and dogs, and housetrained too. German Shepherd knowledge and/or experience is needed for his adoption.  Like so many other companion animals, Charlie needed us when people began playing 'musical chairs' with him -- handing him from one person to the next.  His previous owner abandoned him with a friend, and so on. That dangerous roller-coaster ride is over though now that he is at Nevada SPCA.  We seek committed, nurturing people who are willing and able to provide forever homes to animals and let them become cherished members of their families. Please visit and ask for Charlie by name.

We hope to become as sweet and wonderful as our mommy.

Update: Charlie and Coco were adopted together on October 7th! Charlie and Coco , brother and sister, are playful, adorable, super cute puppies debuting for adoption today. They are Dachshund mixes with very expressive eyes and ears, spayed/neutered, approximately 4 months of age. We rescued these two babies and their mother, Bella , a Dachshund, in August, when their previous owner could no longer afford to keep them. Bella , pictured at the bottom of this post, was spayed and taken to the 4th Annual Family, Fur, and Fun Festival in Mountain's Edge last Saturday, where she was adopted to a very nice family. Now it's Charlie and Coco's turn to get adopted.  Both have gentle spirits and show affection to people with a tender touch. Please be sure to carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection. Bella (Charlie and Coco's mother)

I am anxious to experience true love.

Update: Charlie was adopted on August 14th! At the time of rescue Charlie was so filthy and matted we had no choice but to shave down his coat. Underneath all of the tangles, as you can see, is this radiant, precious young boy with a heart of gold. Despite his difficult start to life, he has a cheerful, optimistic nature. Charlie is a Miniature Poodle mix, neutered male, about one year of age. He enjoys other sweet dogs and needs regular professional grooming care. Charlie debuts for adoption today.

I am told I am cuter than a Teddy Bear.

Update: Charlie was adopted on December 26th! Charlie is an adorable, loving puppy, full of spunk and pizzazz. He is a Terrier & Toy mix, with charming button eyes and a wiry white coat. He is neutered and about 5 months of age, so he is expected to remain small in size. Charlie enjoys other dogs, especially those who will play with him. At the time of rescue he was very sick with the deadly parvo virus (and his previous owner was unable or unwilling to provide him with the emergency medical care needed to save his life). Thanks to donations from caring & generous supporters of Nevada SPCA, we had extensive care provided for him and he made a full recovery. Charlie debuts for adoption today.
