Athens, on Nevada SPCA's web site, 2013 Terrific update on Athens , adopted in 2013, from his dad, Todd, who says he is perfect with his family! "I saw this 6-month-old cute bully mix with beautiful brindle color named ' Athens '.  His ears would fold like he's praying.  I asked to see him.  He ran right up to me and jumped in my lap and showed love.  I played with him outside for an hour and knew he was the one." "Now, 2 years later, he's grown into our family and become the most loved dog ever.  He sleeps in our bed and plays with our kids and he's very happy.  We spoil him like a kid."

Athens, baby boy Roma, baby girl Athens and Roma , brother and sister, are incredibly adorable babies debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.  They are reportedly Border Collie mixes, expected to grow to medium or large size, approximately 3 months of age and now spayed/neutered and micro-chipped.  Both are playful and affectionate.  Please puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety. They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong companionship. Their previous owner cited "small apartment" as the reason for surrendering them and apparently was keeping them on a porch or balcony during the day.  Please help find them wonderful, lifelong homes where they will get plenty of love, as well as physical and mental exercise daily.

Samantha, the mother Egypt, baby girl Bonzai, baby boy Sunflower, baby girl Athens, baby girl At the time of rescue Samantha was on the mean streets, trying to survive, late in her pregnancy. We placed her in a foster home and she shortly thereafter gave birth to 7 babies.  Samantha is a devoted mom and she successfully raised all 7 of her puppies in a loving environment. Samantha and four of her babies are now spayed/neutered and ready for adoption.  (The other three need more care and will be ready for adoption in the weeks to come.) Samantha is a beautiful Bully mix, 4 years of age.  Her babies are about 3 months of age.  Bonzai is a boy and Athens , Egypt , and Sunflower are girls. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.  They can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting a pair for lifelong love and companionship.
