Danielle, 11, is accepting care-taking and will join volunteers and staff for walks.

Until her capture last week, she had reportedly been living in a desert wash for at least a full year, surviving on scraps of food she could find and that people left out for her.

Danielle's microchip ID traced to a previous owner, but this person refused her.

Danielle is a Kelpie mix, spayed, good with other dogs, and ready for a hero adoption at Nevada SPCA.
