Goldie has recovered her will to live and now looks with longing at gentle people with hope that they will accept her lifelong devotion.
Goldie is a blond Chihuahua & Toy mix, 5 years of age and spayed, good with other dogs, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.
Goldie was an emergency rescue from another shelter. She had crashed into depression and stopped eating and drinking. She was perilously dehydrated when we arrived and we rushed her to an animal hospital for IV fluids.
When released from the hospital we paired her up with a canine friend for companionship and her appetite has been steady since.
