Foster heroes urgently needed please for Chrysantha & her 8 newborn puppies, plus 20 rescued motherless kittens!

If you can help, please visit Nevada SPCA in person.

Chrysantha ("golden flower") and her pups were rescued from another shelter. She is an exceptional mother and counts and kisses her babies every few minutes to make sure all are thriving. Chrysantha is a beautiful soul, a Kelpie & Queensland Heeler mix, medium-size, about 3 years of age.

Teddy and his brother, just 2 weeks of age, were found under a warehouse. They need bottle-feeding every few hours.

Claire and her siblings were found wandering outdoors without a mother. They are about 6 weeks of age and eating on their own.

Burton and his siblings were discovered in a backyard. They are about 6 weeks of age and eating on their own.

Anna Beanie Little Eric Michelle Nicholas Sisters Anna and Michelle , and their brothers Beanie , Little Eric , and Nicholas , are very affectionate babies who love giving you kisses. We rescued their pregnant mother, a Cocker Spaniel named Mary Poppins from a government-funded shelter.  She had reportedly been bred with a Scottish Terrier.  We placed Mary Poppins in a loving foster home and she gave birth to these five angels and raised them there. Mary Poppins is going to be adopted by her foster family.  Her puppies are now 3 months of age, spayed/neutered, and ready for adoption. Please carefully puppy-proof your home and yard for their safety and protection.

Update 2: Jellybean was adopted on November 11th! Update: Licorice was adopted on November 9th! Licorice and Jellybean , brother and sister, are nicknamed " The Sweet Candy Puppies " due to their affectionate, adorable temperaments. They are most likely Retriever mixes and may grow to medium or large size. They are spayed/neutered, approximately 3 months of age, and they debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA. The Sweet Candy Puppies were rescued after being found abandoned on the streets. Jellybean was injured with a hairline fracture in her right rear leg. We had her leg treated and it had been bandaged and she was resting for nearly a month. She recovered beautifully. Licorice and Jellybean can be adopted separately, but please consider adopting them together for lifelong love and companionship. They are terrific together!
