Charleston

Charleston, 3, a sunny boy, is adjusting well to life on three legs and walks politely with a waltz/prance.

He is an especially handsome Caroline Dog mix, 3 years of age and neutered, housetrained, good with dogs and older kids, and debuting for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Charleston is afraid of loud voices. Speak to him gently and he beams.

At the time of rescue he was in acute distress. He had been struck by a vehicle, badly breaking his left front leg. His previous owners could not afford veterinary care and he had chewed off a portion of his leg.

Charleston is now fully healed from his amputation surgery and ready to bless someone wonderful with his lifelong unconditional devotion.
