Hunter & Cooper

Hunter & Cooper, reunited soul-mates, debut for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

Yesterday, during a rescue trip to another shelter, Hunter, a Cocker Spaniel, was lethargic and refused to go into a crate in the SUV.

He watched our staff member load the other rescued dogs in, then suddenly leaped over the seat euphorically when he spotted Cooper, a Norwich Terrier mix.  (The boys had been together in their previous home.)

Hunter sat faithfully by Cooper's crate and wagged his tail for the whole trip to Nevada SPCA.

Both boys are 7-9 years of age, neutered, housetrained, and good with other dogs.  An adult-only home is needed due to Hunter's growling -- it's the way he talks, but never bites -- nevertheless, to err on the safe side, an experienced owner is required.
