Every morsel of food and act of kindness is a blessing.

Recovering from severe neglect, Alvin does not take for granted enjoying regular meals and cozy blankets and kind attention.

He was at another shelter that asked for our help because he was emaciated and had numerous minor injuries on his body.  (The small marks on his ears appear to be from insect bites, but we can only speculate what he actually endured in a loveless home.)

Alvin is friendly and outgoing, so happy to be on the mend!

He is a chocolate & cream & white Chi-Weenie (Chihuahua & Dachshund mix), 2 years young, good with dogs, now neutered and triumphantly debuting for adoption at Nevada SPCA.
