I was fading away and thought all hope was lost.

Please help us find Casey a hero.

She was near death at the time of rescue. Her previous owners said she had stopped eating for 4 weeks and they could not afford to take her to a veterinarian.

We had her hospitalized and discovered Casey had diabetes. Now getting twice-daily shots of insulin, she is eating heartily and regaining her strength and will to live.

Casey is exceptionally gentle and she loves tender belly rubs. She is a petite medium-hair tabby, about 13 years of age, and ready for adoption (or long-term foster care) at Nevada SPCA.

Casey loves people and other cats. She asks for so little -- just kindness and dignity.
