Honeydew, a young Saluki or Greyhound mix and social butterfly.

Honeydew is an adventurous, enchanting young girl with unique beauty and she debuts for adoption today at Nevada SPCA.

She is a large, very slender girl, a Saluki or Greyhound mix, 1 year of age and now spayed.

Honeydew is reportedly housetrained, good with dogs, and so social that only people and dogs interest her (not toys).

She lost her previous home reportedly due to separation anxiety.  We have not witnessed separation here, but her previous owners said she panicked whenever she was left alone.

Our experience is that separation anxiety can diminish with time and patience in a very stable, experienced home environment, usually with crate-training and/or companionship with another animal.
