Lovebugs Bunny Adoption Special through Valentine's Day!

Through Valentine's Day on February 14, adoption fees on pairs of bunnies, as well as single rabbits, are substantially reduced in order to encourage people to consider welcoming these most gentle and kind of animals into their loving, forever homes.

Each rescued bunny for adoption is spayed/neutered and micro-chipped.  In addition, they go home in temporary carriers with a starter supply of Timothy hay, their most important food source.

During the Lovebugs Bunny Adoption Special, the adoption fee for a rabbit is only $20.  Better yet, the total adoption fee for a pair of bonded rabbits is only $20 (just $10 each).

Of the 102 rescue bunnies for adoption at Nevada SPCA, 56 already have soul-mates (28 pairs) and these pairs need to be adopted together.  Rabbits, like people, are social animals and generally do best with others of their kind.

If you have a single rabbit already, and he/she is spayed/neutered and needs a lifelong friend, then we encourage you to bring your rabbit to Nevada SPCA's Lovebugs Room for "bunny dates" to safely meet a potential partner.

With 102 rabbits to choose from who all need and await good homes, it may seem overwhelming to make a choice.  But please focus on personality and temperament traits that appeal to you and then the staff can show you the bunnies who may be the best fit for you and your family.

[Pictured here are Lois & Clark, a sweet, good-looking pair who provide each other with stability and emotional support.  Both are three years of age.  Lois is spayed and Clark is neutered.  They are soul-mates and their total adoption fee during the Lovebugs Adoption Special is just $20.]

[Special thanks to Pet'ographique for this beautiful portrait of Lois & Clark to help them get adoption.]
